This startup company had to delay committing to furniture and space planning because of tight lease space options. Space was obtained at the last moment and OASIS quickly assisted in the furniture selection options, pulled used furniture inventories from storage, installed 55 workstations and moved the entire company all within a 7-day time frame. OASIS worked with the architect, contractor, used furniture broker, internal IT staff and the customer’s facilities department to accomplish this quick turnaround project.

OPTIVA CORPORATION
This customer built a new office/manufacturing facility 30 miles from their existing location. The objective was to move the entire company, then in five separate buildings, in phases over a three-week period. The new facility called for 480 total workstations, 325 of which were to be taken down at the old location, transported, staged and reinstalled in the new facility. In addition, 27 trailers of new product needed to be staged and deployed to all parts of the new facility. OASIS provided the critical path planning and coordinated the moving and installation work with a local large moving company. We also supervised the electrical and cabling needs for the 480 stations. The entire project finished 12 hours ahead of schedule and within the customer’s budget.

NATIONAL SPECIALTY UNDERWRITERS
This growing company moved to a larger space on another floor in the same building. The former tenant left furniture behind, but it was not compatible with the client’s furniture system. OASIS disassembled the old furniture and stored it on the floor so that new painting and carpet could be completed. OASIS then designed a new, more-efficient floor plan using both old and new furniture so that client was able to not only move in all their employees, but also create a smaller office space for subleasing. OASIS also recabled the voice and data lines and managed the electrical installation for the entire layout during this five-week, phased project.
